One question decides every gap
Before writing any verb in a gap-fill, ask: what is immediately in front of it?
A preposition (de, antes de, despues de, sin, para, a): leave the infinitive, and attach the pronoun that matches the subject.
A conjugated verb (quiero, debo, me gusta, puedo): leave the infinitive, attach the matching pronoun.
Nothing: conjugate it, pronoun in front.
The trap: the pronoun changes in all three cases. Only the verb's shape depends on what came before.
The two article rules on time
Days: los domingos is every Sunday, el domingo is one Sunday. Weekdays already end in -s, so only sabado and domingo add one in the plural.
Hours: a las ocho, plural for every hour except a la una.
The trap: both rules are named in your notes, and both are one-word answers in an objective section, which makes them cheap marks in either direction.
Two pronoun sets, one difference
Reflexive: me, te, se, nos, os, se.
Indirect object: me, te, le, nos, os, les.
They are identical except in the third person, so every question that tests them is a third-person question.
The trap: gustar-type verbs always take the indirect set. Le gusta, les encanta, le interesa, le duele.
