Two hours. Answer all questions. Calculators are allowed; no other material. This paper is pen and paper and is not Excel based.

Section A is objective. Section B is short notes and comparisons, so answer in the two-column form where the question asks for a comparison. Section C is numerical: show every line of working, since a correct number with no method scores half. Section D is the scenario: identify the appropriate visualisation aspects and explain every choice, including what you would refuse to use and why.

For any chart you describe in words, state the chart type, what goes on each axis, the colour scheme, and the preattentive attribute or Gestalt principle doing the work.
