• Map: bubbles at points. Bubble size encodes a measure, so it is a bubble chart drawn on geography. Best for cities, stores, incidents.
• Filled Map: the choropleth. Colours whole areas by a measure. Best for states, countries, districts.
• Shape Map: also fills areas but from a supplied map file, so it can draw sales territories that no standard map contains.
• ArcGIS Maps for Power BI: a richer engine with base maps, demographic reference layers and drive-time analysis.
