Where text comes from
Text is the largest repository of human knowledge and it is growing quickly. The deck splits its sources in two.
- Documents: articles, books and novels; e-mails, web pages, blogs; tags and comments; computer programs and logs
- Collections of documents: messages (e-mail, blogs, tags, comments); social networks and personal profiles; academic collaborations, meaning publications
That second group is the bridge back to the network chapters. A collection of publications is a corpus for text analytics and an edge list for VOSviewer at the same time.
