The Central Board
The Central Board is appointed or nominated by the central government for a term of four years, and consists of official and non-official directors.
Official directors: the Governor and not more than four Deputy Governors, all full time.
Non-official directors: fifteen in number. Ten from various fields and one government official are nominated by the government; four come from the four local boards.
Its function: general superintendence and direction of the Bank's affairs.
