What the exam looks like
The outline gives no exam pattern, but the slides and the graded assignments do: this is a numericals paper. Every topic in the decks ends in two to six worked practice problems, the mid-sem covered sessions 1-15 and the end-sem covers 16-30.
Expect a few short-note or definition questions (goods versus services, the principles of plant layout, push versus pull supply chains, PERT versus CPM) followed by four to six numericals solved by hand with the working shown.
All four graded assignments were Excel submissions, so Excel was the practice medium, but the paper is pen and paper: every method here works with a calculator. The learning objectives say to apply tools and analyse alternatives, so the paper will also ask which method fits a given situation.
What the professor expects
The outline's expectations row is blank. What the professors actually said: bring a laptop to the location-selection sessions, and rename every Excel file with your roll number before submitting.
The course requirement is to come to each session having read the reference material for it. The slides are the syllabus; the textbooks are the backup.
