These terms govern access to Sem 5 Prep at https://sem5.goatedd.tech. Creating an account or paying for access accepts them in full.

The service

  1. Sem 5 Prep provides guided lessons, quizzes, practice sets, mock papers, flashcards, cheat sheets and a study plan for the Semester V syllabus.
  2. Content is prepared for study and revision, and carries no assurance of accuracy against any examiner's marking scheme.
  3. Features may be added, changed or withdrawn during an access period, provided the subjects listed at purchase remain available.

Licence, account and devices

  1. Access is a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for one named account held by one individual.
  2. An account may hold two active devices, and a third device replaces the oldest device once every seven days.
  3. One session is active at a time, and signing in on another device ends the earlier session.
  4. Sharing credentials, reselling access, recording or copying content, and automated collection of content end the licence without refund.

Price and payment

  1. Prices are published on the Pricing page in Indian rupees, and the total payable is the amount shown in the Total payable column.
  2. Payments are collected by Razorpay Software Private Limited, and the payment instrument is entered on Razorpay's own checkout.
  3. Access begins when Razorpay confirms the payment, and runs for the period published against the plan.
  4. An access period that has ended may be renewed at the price published on the day of renewal.

Intellectual property

  1. Explanatory text, question banks, layout, code and design of the portal belong to the seller.
  2. Textbook extracts, class slides and institutional material remain the property of their owners and are cited where used.
  3. The licence grants a right to study the material, and grants no right to reproduce, publish or distribute it.

Liability

  1. The service carries no assurance of a grade, a rank, a score or any examination outcome.
  2. The service is provided on an as-available basis, and planned maintenance is announced on the portal.
  3. Total liability for any claim connected to the service is limited to the amount paid for the access period in which the claim arose.
  4. The seller is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of marks, admission or opportunity.

Suspension and termination

  1. Access may be suspended or ended when these terms are breached, and the reason is sent to the email address on the account.
  2. An account holder may stop using the service at any time, subject to the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
  3. Obligations on intellectual property, liability and jurisdiction survive the end of an access period.

Changes to these terms

Revised terms take effect when published on this page, and the revision date is shown at the top. Continued use after publication accepts the revision.
